Seems like almost everyone agrees it was funny. I love how clueless Lemmings can be. Makes me feel like they’re actually people instead of all bots
He was just a Fledditor. Living in a Lemmy woooorld.

I, too, have unskipable cutscenes over my special interests.
Also, Revive the Thorn/Thurs!
I’m not well versed in how Denuvo works, only in how it tanks performance. Does anyone know if there is anything stopping Denuvo from checking purchase validity the first time, and on subsequent game launches it can access a secure folder with a file like an internet cookie saying “yeah, this game was bought legit at one point, let it run” and then not run alongside the game?
I don’t have a speaker when I bike, only seen it with others.
Thank you for sharing; yeah, that would be really irritating. Maybe I’m just lucky I’ve never experienced the same intensity.
Ok, I do get that, but what about if it is below conversational volume? Does it still bother you the same?
Aight, someone explain their point of view please. What level of volume severity have you commenters experienced? Someone listening to something has never bothered me, but it also has never been loud enough I can’t have a conversation with someone. Most restaurants play music louder than I hear from a stranger’s speakers. I don’t get what is rude about it. Even the Everett True comic below, several of you are that on edge about a person whistling or humming to themself?
I have scared people with my bike bell before. They almost ended up more in my path. Speakers seem like a better solution to me.
Trust the audience to be literate
But really, that depends on the intended audience.
Reminds me of the bot ban wave done just about a year ago. Maybe hosts will do the same again, or make account generation have a pending status.
No. You, flicker, are clearly in charge of all the decisions of the US Government when it comes to foreign interference.
Somebody with better editing skills than me needs to add crowd noise. Jeering in panel 1 and cheering in panel 4.
Thanks for explaing it so succintly for those that read after. I’ll add that this also expands the options avaliable to Ukraine in future combat fronts, pulling Russian attention and resources, and likely securing more current information on Russian troops. Not that Aurix will try to think about it or be convinced.
Well, that’s your perogative I guess. The physical location, history, heritage, and burden on the neighbors where you move to matter to me, but can understand prioritizing lives over places to a degree. Someone still needs to hold aggressors accountable though, and a proxy war feels more responsible than getting directly involved risking even more escalation than current. Thanks for responding.
Ukraine didn’t decide on war, Russia did. Also, suing for peace doesn’t really seem to be working for Palestine, does it? At what point would you be willing to fight for what you think is right? Would you risk your life to protect your loved ones from a murderer? I would.
I hope Lemmy continues to grow as other sites keep getting worse. That will probably help round out the content. I’m only too well aware of how widespread American politics is as I have dealt with it my whole American life. I don’t blame you for avoiding it, and have only started recently engaging with it. Though, compared to other social media, I find Lemmy to be more mild in the intensity and range being pushed around the site. I expect it will increase over the next few months. As for advice, if it makes you angry/upset, then yeah, keep political instances blocked. I learned how to ignore it, but that took time. 196 is still pretty great tho. Hope you find your peace and enjoyment from the community. Ask more questions, and you’ll probably find what you’re looking for.
I don’t say that about people who know sportsball players. People know the main players in their chosen media, whether they are a fan or not.
I would try before I buy, and haven’t had a chance to try yet.
Probably the nicest insult I’ve seen on greentext forums.
A slap with a wet piece of paper is very funny to some of us. Strength not required.
