WOAH! Bayern hit the bar and Koln almost got a goal on the counter had it not been for Neuer kicking the ball to the throw in!
WOAH! Bayern hit the bar and Koln almost got a goal on the counter had it not been for Neuer kicking the ball to the throw in!
JESUS! I didnt know you could hit a volley so hard it would act as a backpass!
Dayum! Neuer just dodged that Koln player like nothing! That said oh boi that could have ended badly.
WHAT A SAVE! Dude that shot felt powerful and the goalie still blocked it!
Yeah, Bayern seem to be poised to attempt counterattacking Koln to keep scoring.
i get playing from the back with the goalie passing the ball is not weird, but it feels at times like Bayern are risking it a bit considering sometimes it would be better to just shoot it away from their own box so far.
what a block that one from the Koln player! Literally would have been a goal if it went through him the ball
Full time (dayum why did the Hamburg match go to 101 minutes according to google), Hamburg win 2-1 against Braunschweig, Hannover and Hertha draw 2-2. Extra note: Honestly got to give it to Braunschweig for fighting back in the second half and even outdoing Hamburg in total shots if google is correct at the end haha.
Just found out that Hannover have tied and dear god that assist was PERFECT. Like, the defender(?) from the position where the long pass thrown had to do something like from one box to the other with their pass and it fell perfectly nonetheless! WOW!
Talking about the stereo goals from Braunschweig and Hannover, first dayum that was a nice and strong shot to make the match 2-1 from Fabio, second…i know that you obviously don´t want to commit a foul defending, but at the same time dude, i saw the clip of the Hannover goal, dear lord bro just pretty much paced through the Hertha midfield and defense and it looked like neither of those two groups of players tried at all trying to stop the Hannover player that did the assist from doing said assist for the 2-1. What happened there?.
Half time on both matches, 2-0 winning Hamburg and Hertha respectively.
First up, i just the clip of Hertha´s second goal, man, today´s not been the day for the left defending side of Hannover, both crosses that ended being assists came from the left. Second, tbh, i feel like if Hannover don´t sub out their left back for second half, they are going to have a nightmare of a game if Hertha can keep doing crosses from there.
Third, dayum i wasn´t expecting 15 shots already on Hamburg vs Braunschweig and fourth, i will say that the only way i can see the latter not suffering more goals imo might be to do a gamble and switch to something like a 3-4-3 because what they be doing at the moment kinda doesn´t work for defense if you concede twice to the other team piling up defenders to get either space for scoring or just scoring after doing so, thus having less defenders could reduce the risk of that happening plus you can have one of the midfielders go down if needed yknow?. Idk that´s honestly how i see it tbh.
Dayum, i just left for a bit and all off a sudden 3 goals came in from the matches. Just checked them (aka the goal clips in reddit) and first up, i get obviously one can´t expect a team to like defend thy best against second place even in the 2.Bundesliga, specially if they are second to last (if not last due to goal difference at the moment) but geezus all Hamburg needed in both goals was a player to just accumulate defenders on them to score (the header i think the one that scored removed one defender off himself and then filtered between two other defenders of Braunschweig to head the ball into the net) or open space for the shot (that is more or less what happened to like open space for shooting on the second goal of Hamburg) so like, even with difficulty due to team quality difference, Hamburg only needed to pile up defenders to get goals more or less lol.
As for the Hertha goal, that was kinda funny how the ball just bounced off the volley like 3 to 4 teams into the net, with the assist being a center into the box lifted even longer than it was intended by a Hannover defender lol
oh. I just saw it was U23. Sorry haha, my dumbo just saw AFC Asian Cup for some reason hence why i reacted like “holy shit South Korea and Japan in the same group” lol
Man, idk if it will happen but imagine Estonia making Euros despite having only gotten 1 point and scored 2 goals in the actual qualifiers groups. It would be hilarious, not meaning any disrespect to Wales, Poland or Finland people, after all the one point they got i think it was against Azerbaijan who then ended destroying 3-0 Sweden later on…so idk what is going to happen on Path A. Because on paper Wales should go through, or if not them, then Poland, but the fact that Finland have done quite well in their group and that Estonia with just 2 goals in the qualifier groups managed to use 1 of those to draw Azerbaijan who are capable of impressive things (as the Sweden match showed) legit Path A feels quite unpredictable.
Oh man Japan and Korea in the same group. That is certainly one way to ensure we get a great match considering on one side there is Japan who are really good and probs the best team the AFC has at the moment (either them or Australia as far as WC2022 goes in the latter´s case) yet on the other there is South Korea whom even if not having the smoothest of exits to the World Cup still did quite well under pressure (the goal they needed against Portugal being off that killer pass in added time) so well, that group is gucci to me because of the fireworks we are going to get without needing to wait till South Korea and Japan face off in the knockout stages.
ngl this is pretty cool. We have quite the chances of seeing for the first time in history a final not featuring european teams. After all, i think at most 2 could make the semis and then the rest are either african nations or south american ones. Amazing stuff!
MOTM Dibu imo considering his save legit helped us not go down 1-0. Not saying Otamendi doesn’t deserve a MOTM since he also performed well (he saved a goal on the line then scored 1-0) but i feel in this case considering how Brazil were better than us and going for the win that they needed, Dibu was clutch. MOTM for me.
That said, geezus, for the next window considering we play the team we almost always draw in Chile and then Colombia who seem to be finding their mojo once again, yeah, we needed these 3 points badly and also Scaloni has got to rethink on who he calls up for that window so we don’t end having a nightmare of a window like this one during his coaching time again.
I know his name is Sergiño, but dude imagine if Trinidad end up doing a La Remontada due to someone whose name is (or in this case when reduced) Sergi lmfao. It would be HILARIOUS.
Geezus how much was Dest yelling at the ref to get carded?
Full time, Bayern win 1-0 though oh boi did Koln did almost draw at the end had the last corner not even happened but their player just shoot instead. I honestly think that would have been 50/50 if it went in or not if that last corner on minute 92 was instead just a shot.
