  • We do and we dont. Almost 350 million people have differences of opinion quite frequently. Thankfully most of the world thinks our positives outweighs our negatives.

Either that or they are too weak to stop us in any meaningful way. We’ve seen how many genocides over the past few years from superpowers and no one does anything? Only way you’ll see a real check on America or China’s power is through a world War which everyone rightfully wants to avoid.

  • I didn’t watch because it’s a republican political rally but he usually talks shit about other white people in the form of self deprecating humor in the shorts that get passed through my algorithm, so … maybe? It doesn’t help matters much though if he did, and it wouldn’t be on the same level as calling the whole island trash.

Usually racial comedy can be fun when it takes advantage of knowledge of the in crowd. Like you couldn’t really know to make fun of something unless you yourself were a fan of it. Like there are fun ways to joke around about cultures you love. He wasn’t doing that.

  • Loss of personal income and denial or service come to mind with like 5 seconds of thought.

Any non-salary employee who’s late to work probably doesn’t just get to make it up later. The business that employs then may lose business as a result of the shortage/delay. Their products being shipped to them could be delayed resulting in loss of sales. The ripple goes on and on but most pockets getting hit are commuting workers, more than big businesses.

As for if it’s worse than what others in Gaza are experiencing? A pointless exercise. As my parents told us growing up “there are children starving in Africa”, yet it doesn’t make me like the taste of steamed green beans any more or less. Their suffering doesn’t impact my suffering, no matter how extreme the difference.
