Its bizarre how even the title is the same, like, OP is clearly not a bot based on his comment history but this is an exact post of a few weeks ago…

This past week I read:
[My S-Rank Party Fired Me for Being a Cursificer] (https://anilist.co/manga/118519/Akuyaku-Reijou-Level-99-Watashi-wa-Ura-Boss-desu-ga-Maou-de-wa-Arimasen/), another story of a protagonist being kicked from his party, this one is not edgy and its really short right now but I found it hilarious, lowkey it managed to make it make sense why the party of the protagonist rejected him when he was so OP, the protagonist is of course an oblivious idiot at recognizing his own standing, but it has been funny seeing him fight with varied tools.
Villainess Level 99, another villainess on an isekai rpg, here the protagonist reincarnates as the hidden last boss in a game and takes the chance to level up to guarantee her safety, she manages to reach max rank before school even starts which became a problem. This manga has some charm, I really like how the protagonist became sort of an adrenaline junky at leveling up.
Classroom of the Elite, I decided to stop reading at ch 58, I just havent found it interesting, while there are some 900 IQ plays nothing has really felt that exiting, I did like the protagonist personality at the island test.
Chio’s school road, its kind of a surreal comedy where we follow a girl going to school who gets into crazy situations, I was really enjoying it but the author started putting on some weird ecchi and weird jokes about sexual harrasment (for example the trope of the predatory lesbian, also an oji san that ends up homeless after groping high school girls on the train), which are played for laughs but felt weird and mismatched.
I also finished two of the manga I had started last week, being Helck and Transfer Student Storm Bringer (transfer students has a really wild ending, I loved how it ended)
VLemmy AWOL Investigation hope the link works, if not just search for the title on search bar and it will appear.
I dont really regret having one of my first serious accounts on lemmy, at least I was part of the ride and the most annoying thing has been resubbing to small communities (now I have an extension to store my communities just in case)
For me I have been having fun testing novel ai and trying tk play pseudo rpg adventures alone, I will probably never share anything but it has been really fun to try AI as a single player experience.
No one really knows, there are some plausible theories of negligence but in reality it is most probable the owner just decided to pull off the plug dince not only the server went down but the donation links did too.
He didn’t tell anyone and no one has been in contact with him
Like 3 days after the server went down there was a post on an investigation on what happened which made some discoveried and said they had some leads however there hasn’t been a follow-up to my knowledge
Vlemmy was a good one, although you are almost two weeks late with your question since it fell down :( (Although it was going to defederate with an instance the day before closing due to not wanting to host illegal content, for obvious reason)
I would love for another one to sprung out, I myself am quite trigger happy with blocking people and communities (even instances through my app) so I would always be happier being the one shaping the content instead of another person doing it for me, regardless of if we would block the same instances at least I would know what I have blocked.
I would probably never browse the local feed on an instance that intentionally never defederates though, the potential to jost a plethora of unsavory people is too high (although that hadn’t really happened with vlemmy, that instance was insanely good at that)
Yep, although it’s almost been a year since the request so I don’t know how high it’s priority wise.
Since the question was why people use Kbin that is a big one for now, at least for me although I have an account there I just prefer lemmy since Kbin seems to be too much on its infancy and also the fact that because it doesn’t have an open API as of now, there are (almost) no apps developed.
Also the ability for users to block instances and domain like mastodon has, which is pretty cool.
I don’t like reading manga that are just starting out, but I’m really tempted by this title.
Hope it’s a parody isekai and it ends being as funny as I imagine it could be with this setting.
I reread D-frag, its one of my comfort reads so I read it now and again from beginning to end.
I also read The Bully In-Charge up to chapter 69, its another korean delinquent work in a world where adults dont intervene no matter how bad things get and kids are so vicious they send each other to the hospital in a daily basis. The catch here being that some higher ups at the education foundation decided to hire a 20 year old ex delinquent to go to school as a 16 year old and beat the crap out of the bullies, so he gets to dominate them. I don’t think it was trying to do comedy, but it ended up being hilarious in many situations I laughed out loud, it is pretty ridiculous at times. The fights were somewhat good, but near the end it is getting into the typical delinquent manwha territory where gangs and drugs get involved in every high school conflict and also some special bullshit ability is getting introduced, which kind of ruins the “somewhat plausible fiction” element of the fights into straight-up fantasy. (similar to what happens into kuroko no basket to give some reference)
